Thesis Sahib: "The idea for the song was writing from the perspective of these kids who were exiled from their homes to the high seas because no matter how hard they tried they couldn't stop saying shitty or critical or belligerent things about the people in charge of their community. It was like a curse on them. Although it let them see a new perspective and put them together on this boat. Anyhow that's about it."
